IISER IAT Admission 2025 : Registration Postponed to March 10 – New Registration Date & More Details

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has revised the IAT 2025 registration date. It was earlier set for March 5 but will now start on March 10. The last date to apply is April 15. The exam is scheduled for May 25.
The IISER entrance exam is for students who want to join the BS-MS dual degree program or the four-year BS program in Engineering Sciences and Economic Sciences (available only at IISER Bhopal).
IISER IAT 2025: Eligibility
Candidates must have passed Class 12 in the science stream with at least 60% marks (General category). SC, ST, and PwD candidates need a minimum of 55%. Each category requires a separate application.

IISER Aptitude Test (IAT)
The IAT will have 60 questions, out of which 15 questions will be from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. Candidates will have a total of 180 minutes to complete the test. The questions will be multiple-choice, with only one correct answer.
Marking Scheme
✅ Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks.
✅ Each wrong answer will be awarded a penalty of 1 mark.
✅ Unanswered questions will be awarded 0 marks.
✅ The maximum marks that can be obtained in IAT is 240 marks.
