The final answer key of JEE Main 2021 session 3 was released last evening on the official website of NTA i.e, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted its 3rd session of JEE Main 2021 Examination on July 20, 22, 25, and 27. The exam was conducted as a CBT (Computer Based Test). It was held for approx 7.09 lakh candidates. The JEE Main was conducted in pan India across 334 cities and 828 exam centers.
NTA obeys a normalization strategy that is based on percentile scores. Percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all those students who appear for the examination. Basically, the marks obtained by students are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees. This normalization procedure is followed by NTA by considering the varied level of difficulty associated with each other.
The JEE Main Paper consisted of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Each Subject. Each subject-wise had MCQs questions of 4 marks and numerical-based questions. The MCQs Questions carried a negative marking of 1 for a wrong answer.
In JEE Main If two students or more than two students score the same JEE Main National Testing Agency (NTA) Scores, then a tie-breaking methodology will be implemented to break the tie in this order -
(a) Candidates obtaining a higher percentile score in Maths in the test
(b) Candidates obtaining a higher percentile score in Physics in the test
(c) Candidates obtaining a higher percentile score in Chemistry in the test
(d) Candidates older in age will be preferred
