The JEE Main 2024 session 2 registration window is set to close soon on the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in, managed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Scheduled from April 4 to 15, the JEE Main 2024 exam is a crucial step for securing admission into prestigious institutions such as National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and Government-Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs).

To register for session 2, candidates who applied for JEE (Main) 2024 session 1 need to log in using their previous application number and password. During the registration process, they must select the paper, examination medium, state code of eligibility, preferred cities, and provide their educational qualification details. Additionally, candidates are required to make the examination fee payment. It's important to note that filling more than one application form is not allowed, and any candidate found with multiple applications may be deemed as engaging in unfair means, even if discovered at a later stage.

Important documents

Students applying for the JEE Main 2024 session 2 exam will have to upload these documents:

  • Scanned images of photograph (100 kb to 200 kb) and signature (4 kb to 30 kb) in jpg or jpeg format
  • Category certificates, if applicable
  • Photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, bank passbook, passport and others.

JEE Main 2024: Fee structure

Students will have to submit the registration fee only through online mode. The fee can be paid through UPI, credit or debit card and net banking. Students will be required to enter details of payment mode to complete the payment. Once, the application fee has been submitted, candidates will receive a message of successful payment on their registered mobile numbers.
