The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 on February 25, 2026. Candidates who have not yet submitted their application can apply before the deadline by visiting the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam is scheduled from 2 April to 9 April 2026. Admit cards are expected to be released three to four days before the exam dates.

Who Can Apply for JEE Main 2026 Session 2?
JEE Main 2026 is being held in two sessions — the first was in January and the second will be in April. Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning programmes must complete their application through the official portal by 25 February.
As per the eligibility criteria, the following candidates can apply.

How to Apply for Session 2 If You Already Appeared in Session 1
Candidates who already applied and paid the fee for the January session (Session 1) and want to appear for Session 2 must log in using their previous application number and password. These students will need to fill in the following details.

Students who appeared in Session 1 don't need to fill a completely new form. They can use their existing login credentials and update the required details for Session 2.

Step 3: New candidates — Register and create login credentials
Step 4: Session 1 candidates — Log in using previous application number and password
Step 5: Fill in all required personal and academic details
Step 6: Upload required documents and scanned images
Step 7: Select preferred exam cities and medium of question paper
Step 8: Pay the application fee online
Step 9: Submit the form and download the confirmation page
