JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Answer Key Released - Direct Link to Download Provisional Key at jeemain.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 provisional answer key today, February 4, 2026. Students who appeared for the January session exam can now check their response sheets on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. To access the answer key, candidates need to enter their application number along with their date of birth or password.

Along with the provisional answer key, NTA has also opened the objection window today. Students who find any errors in the answer key can raise objections by paying ₹200 per question. This fee is non-refundable. The objection window will remain open only until February 5, 2026, so candidates should submit their challenges quickly.

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Exam Schedule

The JEE Main Session 1 exams took place on January 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2026. NTA conducted all exams in computer-based test (CBT) mode. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) was held on the first five days in two shifts daily. The morning shift ran from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, and the afternoon shift ran from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Paper 2 (B.Arch and B.Planning) was held on the last day in a single morning shift.

After the objection window closes, NTA's subject experts will review all submitted challenges. They'll then prepare the final answer key based on their analysis. NTA will use this final key to calculate Session 1 results, which are expected by February 12, 2026.

• Click on "Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key" link under Candidate Login
• Log in with your Application Number and Password
• Select the Question ID(s) you want to challenge
• Choose your believed correct option and explain why NTA's answer is wrong
• Upload scanned supporting documents as proof
• Pay ₹200 per question through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking
