The National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 B.Arch examination for the January session from today. The examination will be held in the second shift from 3 pm to 6:30 pm. Candidates should bring their JEE Main 2024 admit card and a valid ID proof while appearing for the examination.

Being successful in the exam also depends on what the students do in the last few hours before the exam. Having said that, we have listed some important last minute JEE study tips that can help every candidate to be on the right track in the last leg of their preparation journey.

 Last Minute Preparation Tips for JEE Main 2024 

1. Students are advised not to attempt any new questions during the last hours before the JEE Main exam day. Student should eat healthy food it reduces fatigue and helps in improving concentration.

2. They should not be disappointed if the paper seems difficult at first glance as relative performance is what matters.

3. In the examination hall, students should take a deep breath before solving the paper. Remain calm and confident. have faith in yourself. Read the paper very carefully, number of questions, marking scheme and negative marking.

4. One-fourth marks are deducted for wrong answer to a question which does not match the answer given by the paper setter. Students should start with questions which they find easy and confident in solving and then try to solve progressively difficult questions. The golden rule to follow is to spend an average of 2 minutes on a question and not get stuck in any question due to ego.

5. Focus on building your strengths. Strengthen the strong points and topics of JEE Main 2024 in such a way that you do not leave any question related to those topics. You might have studied and revised it many times. Refine and hone the subjects you are good at and know better than others.

6. Revision is an important study exercise for JEE aspirants. Therefore before the paper, students should engage in revision and study or practice all the important formulas, theorems and reactions. Memorizing these will help them to solve many questions easily. Additionally, writing down the formulas in a notebook or making flashcards may help.
