JEE Mains 2024 exam center guidelines have been released by the National Testing Agency. Candidates should not adopt any unfair means or indulge in any unfair examination method as the examination centers are under CCTV surveillance. Check detailed guidelines here.

Candidates have been asked to download the admit card from the NTA website. All are advised to check the reporting time at the centre, gate closing time of the centre, date of examination, shift and time of examination and venue of examination.

Advice for JEE Mains 2024 Session 1

JEE Mains 2024 Exam – Items to be carried

Admit card downloaded from NTA website (clear, preferably colored printout on A4 size paper).
A passport size photograph (same as uploaded with the online application form) is to be pasted on the attendance sheet at the centre.
A valid photo ID proof in original (PAN Card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhaar Card (with photograph)/e-Aadhaar/Ration Card/12th class admit card).

As mentioned earlier, if a candidate goes for bio-break/toilet, he/she will again have to undergo mandatory frisking and biometrics.

In addition to biometric attendance and frisking on entry, candidates will be frisked, and biometric attendance will be taken again on entry from bio-break/toilet break.

Students who are suffering from diabetes will be allowed to carry food items like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) and transparent water bottles. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed food like chocolates/candy/sandwiches

JEE Mains exams for Session 1 will begin tomorrow, January 24. Paper 2 will be conducted first and Paper 1 will be conducted on 27, 29, 30, 31 January and 1 February.
