Female candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2026 exam must adhere to the following dress code:

  • Do not wear a scarf, dupatta, or any kind of head covering.
  • Students should not wear any type of jewelry or ornaments.
  • Candidates should not wear any metallic objects or any clothing made of metal.
  • On the day of the exam, candidates should wear light and comfortable clothing, keeping the weather in mind.
  • Candidates should not wear spectacles, rings, bracelets, or any such items.

JEE Main 2026 Session - 1 Exam Day Guidelines

Students must follow the guidelines given below on the day of the JEE Main 2026 examination.

  • It is advisable to visit the examination center a day before the exam to familiarize yourself with the route and travel time to avoid delays on the exam day.
  • Students should reach the examination center at least one hour before the exam to avoid last-minute hassles.
  • Students must carry their JEE Main 2026 admit card, a passport-size color photograph, and a valid photo identity proof.
