The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced a new date for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result. According to the official notice released on NTA's X (Twitter) handle, the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result will now be declared by February 16, 2026. Earlier, NTA had scheduled the result for February 12, 2026. However, the agency has now pushed the date by a few days. NTA has assured students that the extra time will be used to ensure accuracy and transparency in the evaluation process. Around 13 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam are eagerly waiting for their results.

Where to Check JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result?
Once the result is declared, candidates can access their scorecards only through the official portal — jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA won't send results via email, post, or any other channel. The official website is the only authentic source to check your JEE Main 2026 result.
Students who appeared for the computer-based exam between January 21 and January 29, 2026, should keep their login credentials ready. You'll need your JEE Main Application Number and Password to access the scorecard.
How to Download JEE Main 2026 Result PDF?
Follow these simple steps to download your JEE Main 2026 Session 1 scorecard.
Step 1: Visit the official JEE Main website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.

What Time Will JEE Main 2026 Result Be Declared?
NTA hasn't confirmed the exact time of the result announcement yet. However, based on previous years' trends, the result is likely to be released in the late afternoon or early evening. Last year, the Session 1 result was declared in the afternoon.

JEE Main 2026 Final Answer Key: Expected Soon
Along with the result, NTA is also expected to release the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Final Answer Key this week. The final answer key will confirm the correct responses for all question paper sets. Students can download the PDF version from the official portal.
The provisional answer key was released on February 4, 2026. Candidates were allowed to raise objections against it until February 6, 2026. NTA has reviewed all the challenges and prepared the final answer key accordingly.

Along with individual results, NTA will also release the list of JEE Main 2026 toppers. This list will include top-performing candidates from Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), Paper 2A (B.Arch), and Paper 2B (B.Planning). The topper list is prepared based on percentile scores and All India Ranks.
In previous years, the topper list was released along with the qualifying cutoffs. A similar pattern is expected this time as well.

The qualifying cutoff marks for JEE Advanced 2026 are based on candidates' percentile scores in JEE Main. Here's the expected category-wise minimum qualifying percentile for JEE Main 2026.
