JEE Main Session 2 Admit Card 2026: NTA to Release Hall Ticket Expected This Week; Check Details
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the admit cards for JEE Main 2026 Session 2, which candidates will be able to download within this week. Once released, the hall tickets will be available on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, where registered applicants can log in using their application number and date of birth to download their admit cards.
JEE Main is one of the country's largest engineering entrance examinations, serving as a gateway for admission to premier institutions, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). The April session offers candidates a second opportunity to improve their scores, and the best score obtained across both sessions is considered for the final ranking.
According to the official schedule, the second session of JEE Main 2026 will be conducted in April. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is expected to be held on multiple dates during the first and second weeks of the month, followed by Paper 2 (B.Arch./B.Planning). The examination will be conducted in a computer-based mode at various centers across India and abroad, continuing with a multi-shift format to accommodate the large number of candidates.

- Visit the official website of NTA JEE Mains - jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on JEE Main admit card download link on the home page.
- Login using application number and password.
- Link to download admit card will be displayed on screen.
- Download and take its printout.

The hall ticket will include key details like: candidate’s roll number, application number, name, father’s name, gender, date of birth, state of eligibility, PwD status, and scribe requirement. It will also carry the candidate’s photograph and signature, along with the name of the paper applied for (BE/BTech, BArch, or BPlan).
In addition, the admit card will mention the exam date, shift, reporting time, and gate closing time. Details of the allotted test centre, including the state, city, centre name, and full address, will be provided, along with a self-declaration form to be filled by the candidate.
In the January session of JEE Main 2026, over 1.2 million candidates appeared for Paper 1, with many candidates achieving a 100th percentile score. Among the top performers was Aditya Singh, who secured the highest marks. A similarly massive turnout of candidates is expected for the April session, as millions of aspirants prepare to take the exam for a second time to enhance their prospects of securing admission to top engineering institutions.
