JEE Main Session 2 Result 2026 Releasing Today - Direct Link, Download Steps & What's Next

The wait for the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 results is finally coming to an end; the National Testing Agency is set to declare the results today, April 20, bringing clarity to over 1.1 million candidates. Students are advised to keep their login credentials ready, as access may become slow due to heavy traffic once the result link goes live.

Once the results are released, candidates will be able to check their scores on the official website—jeemain.nta.nic.in. The Session 2 examinations were conducted from April 2 to April 8 across 566 centers located in 304 cities within India and 14 cities abroad.

Along with the results, the NTA will publish the All India Rank (AIR) list and the eligibility cut-offs for JEE Advanced 2026. The final answer key will also be released, and scores will be calculated based on this revised key following a review of the objections raised by students.

How to Check JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Results

Here is how you can easily check your JEE Main 2026 results:

Step 1: Visit the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in

Step 3: You will be redirected to the login page; enter your Application Number and Password.

Step 4: Complete the CAPTCHA verification and click on "Submit."

Step 5: Your scorecard will appear on the screen; download it and keep a printout safe for future reference.

Online registration for JEE Advanced 2026 will commence on April 23 at 10:00 AM on the official website – jeeadv.ac.in. The last date to apply is May 2, 2026. The examination is being conducted by IIT Roorkee. This examination is also open to foreign nationals and OCI/PIO candidates, for whom a separate registration window has been made available.

Due to the high level of competition this year, a slight increase in the cutoff is expected. For the General category, experts estimate that the qualifying percentile will range between 93.2 and 94.1. This marginal increase reflects the growing number of candidates and the relatively balanced difficulty level of the examination across various sessions.

JEE Main Cut-Off: What could be the Probable Cut-off?

  • For Other Backward Classes (OBC), the cut-off is likely to range from 79 to 81.
  • For Scheduled Castes (SC), the cut-off could range from 61 to 64.
  • For Scheduled Tribes (ST), the cut-off is likely to be between 48 and 50.
  • For students with disabilities (PwD), a cut-off ranging from 0.001 to 1.0 is probable.

What's Next?
