The Karnataka Government on Friday, June 5, 2021 has announced that the 2nd PUC exam has been cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation. However the government said the SSLC Class 10th Exam will be held only for two subjects likely in July month.

While addressing the media Karnataka Education minister S Suresh Kumar said that the Karnataka Board Exam 2021 II PUC Exam has been cancelled. However the government can hold the SSLC Exam for two subjects likely in the 3rd week of July.

He also added, no student will fail in the class 10th and class 12th exam, the result will be according to grades.

For the SSLC exam the questions will be based on MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions). Each paper will be a maximum of 40 marks. One paper will be for language and the other one will be for core subjects such as Science, Maths, etc. Exam timi frame will be for three hours starting from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. And those who will not be able to give their exam due to being affected by COVID can appear for the exam later.

While giving more information related to the exam he said those students who will not be satisfied with their results can appear for the exam, which will be conducted after the COVID Situation contained.

PUC II Exam was earlier scheduled for May 24 to June 16. Meanwhile the SSLC exam was scheduled to be conducted from June 21 to July 5.
