Karnataka Government Decides To Shut Schools In Bengaluru for Two Weeks

In view of the alarming rise in COVID-19 cases, the Karnataka government has decided to impose a weekend curfew and extend the night curfew for two weeks in Bengaluru. The government also decided to shut schools and pre-university colleges except for 10th and 12th students for two weeks.
The weekend curfew for two weeks will start from Friday 10 PM to 5 AM on Monday. All essential services will stay continue.
The city has been registering over 1,000 cases on a daily basis and a total of 2,479 cases on Tuesday and four deaths have been registered since January 1 in Karnataka.
