Latest Update - RBSE Class 10th & 12th Board Exam cancelled on view of COVID Pandemic: Rajasthan Government

After the center’s decision on Cancellation of CBSE Class 12th Board Examination, many  states have started taking the decision to cancel their state board examination as well.

As per the latest update from Rajasthan, RBSE Class 10th and 12th board exam has been cancelled on the view of COVID-19 Pandemic. The Rajasthan Government has announced the decision on Wednesday for the cancellation of RBSE Board Exam 2021.

CM Gehlot shared on twitter that the decision to cancel the examination was taken in the cabinet meeting conducted late at night. For the evaluation criteria of students, the decision will be taken and announced sooner or later.

"Medical experts have warned that children may be more prone to infection in a possible third wave of COVID-19. In such a situation, it has been decided to cancel the examinations of classes 10 and 12 conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education," the statement said.

On June 1st the high level meeting was held and chaired by the PM Narendra Modi. After looking at all the reviews and suggestions from earlier discussion. PM announced the cancellation of CBSE Class 12th board Exam due to pandemic.

The government said that CBSE will take further steps to compile the result of Class 12th students as per well-defined objective criteria in a time bound manner.

It was also mentioned that if students will not be satisfied with their results then they can appear for the examination once the situation becomes favourable.

On April 14, the Central government took the decision to cancel Class 10 board exams.
