MHT CET 2026 to be Held Twice a Year

In a major update, MHT CET will now be conducted twice a year starting from the 2026-27 academic session. This decision brings the state-level entrance exam at par with JEE Main, which also offers two attempts. Maharashtra's Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil announced this reform after a review meeting with the CET Cell.

With two attempts, students will get a better chance to improve their scores and secure admissions in top colleges.
