NEET Counselling 2021: A Few Changes MCC Announced For Admission Process

NEET Counselling 2021 latest updates: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced that the counselling process of NEET will be in four rounds. All India Quota (AIQ) Round1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ mop up round and AIQ stray vacancy round. The MCC also stated that they will be conducting the counselling for 15% NEET UG seats and 50% PG seats.
Once the counselling for the AIQ will be conducted, it will not revert back for the states. However, the MCC has not released any date and time yet for the NEET 2021 Counselling process. After the announcement of date and time, counselling will be held on the official website of MCC i.e, mcc.nic.in
NEET Counselling Updates: A few Changes Done By MCC
- NEET Counselling for 15% NEET UG seats and 50% NEET PG will be done in four rounds.
- Except for AIQ stray vacancy round fresh registration of the candidates will be allowed in AIQ round 1, AIQ round 2, AIQ mop-up round only.
- AIQ seats that were earlier reverted back to states after round two of counselling will be filled in the Mop Up and stray vacancy rounds.
- The candidates will get the options to upgrade and free exit only in the round 1 of NEET counselling.
- Those candidates who have joined the allotted seats in round 2 of counselling will not be allowed to resign and not eligible to take part in further rounds of NEET Counselling.
