NEET UG 2024 Stray Vacancy Round: Choice Locking Begins, Seat Allotment Scheduled for October 29

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will open the choice locking facility today for the NEET UG stray vacancy round counselling 2024. Medical aspirants must fill out their choices and lock them in order of preference by 8 am on October 26 through the official website, mcc.nic.in.

The NEET UG choice filling began on October 23 to fill 1,184 stray vacancies announced by MCC. According to the NEET UG counselling schedule, the 2024 seat allotment results will be released on October 29, after the allocation process between October 26 and 28.

The choice locking link for MCC NEET UG will go live at 4 pm today and close by 8 am on October 26. Per a recent update, the Kerala High Court has ordered the addition of a seat at the Sri Lakshmi Narayan Institute of Medical Science, Kudapakkam Post, Villianur, Puducherry.

NEET UG Stray Round Eligibility

The MCC has set eligibility criteria for NEET UG stray vacancy round counselling 2024.

Who is eligible?	Not eligible
Candidates who are not holding any seat either in All India Quota or State Quota are eligible to participate in the NEET UG stray vacancy round.	Those who are holding a MBBS, BDS seat in AIQ or state quota will not be eligible.
Those who have ‘Not Reported’ at the allotted college of round 3 counselling can participate in state UG counselling.	Candidates who did not join their seats allotted in NEET UG round-3 are ‘not eligible’ to participate in the stray round.
Candidates who have not joined in the earlier rounds.	Candidates who have joined state quota seats through earlier rounds are not eligible to participate in MCC stray round counselling.
