The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon begin the registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025. Once the NEET UG application form is released, interested candidates can apply on the official NTA website - neet.nta.nic.in.

For registration, candidates need to first visit the official NTA website, and then enter all the required personal and educational details.

After that, candidates need to upload the asked documents and scanned images, pay the application fee, and then submit the form. Candidates are advised to download and save the application form for future reference.

On a notice issued on January 14, NTA had asked the aspirants to update Aadhaar details and integrate their APAAR ID. APAAR ID (previously called the Academic Bank of Credits or ABC ID) is designed to digitally store a student’s academic credits and ensure a comprehensive record of their academic journey. However, last week, NTA has confirmed that APAAR ID is not mandatory for NEET application.

Exam Pattern

NTA has discontinued optional questions in Section B of NEET UG 2025. Candidates taking NEET UG in 2025 will not get any optional questions and the exam will now revert to the pre-COVID format with the additional time introduced during COVID.

The optional section was introduced as a temporary measure to accommodate the challenges posed during the Covid pandemic and has remained in vogue till 2024. The NEET UG 2025 paper will now have 180 compulsory questions - 45-45 questions in Physics and Chemistry and 90 questions in Biology. Candidates will have to solve the paper in 180 minutes.

Complete the NEET UG 2025 registration form and pay the application fee.
Click on the submit button.
Save the NEET UG 2025 registration form as a PDF for future reference.
Take a printout of the registration form for your records.
