NEET UG 2026: Fee Refund Portal Deadline Extended to June 22, Apply Now

The deadline for submitting bank account details to receive NEET UG 2026 fee refund has been extended to June 22. According to the notice released by NTA on May 27, around 13 lakh candidates have updated their bank details.

How to apply for NEET UG 2026 Fee Refund

National Testing Agency (NTA) has provided a facility for fee refunds on its official registration portal for NEET UG 2026. Applicants are required to register themselves and click on refund link available on the site till June 22 at 11:50 PM.

No Fees for NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam

The announcement regarding the re-exam clearly stated that students appearing for NEET UG 2026 will not be charged any fee. Moreover, NTA assured that fees received from candidates will be returned to them in full.

Important Points about Submitting Bank Account Details

Candidates applying for refund will have to provide their bank account details in their accounts. They may also scan and upload cancelled cheque as per instruction provided on the NEET portal. But the most significant point here is that once they enter their bank account details, no further change will be entertained.

Out of nearly 23 lakh applicants, around 10 lakh candidates haven't yet uploaded their bank account details. NTA has decided to extend the deadline to help these applicants get their refunds.

Why Was NEET UG 2026 Announced Cancelled?

Due to various irregularities in the exam, NTA declared NEET UG 2026 exam cancelled. Various incidents of paper leakage were reported from different examination centers. The result created a stir among students and their guardians. An inquiry is being carried out by the Central Bureau of Investigation.

NEET UG 2026 re-examination will take place on June 21, just one day before deadline.
