NEET UG Result 2024: When and Where to Find the Final Answer Key and Counselling Details

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the NEET UG Result 2024 and the final answer key soon, likely in the second or third week of June 2024. Once available, candidates can check and download the NEET UG result and final answer key at exams.nta.ac.in.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of the Directorate General of Health Services will handle online counselling for Undergraduate Medical Courses. An All India Merit List of qualified candidates will be created based on their All India Rank in the NEET (UG) 2024 Merit List. Admissions to Undergraduate Medical Courses will be made from this list, adhering to the existing reservation policy.
Counselling for seats controlled by State Governments, UT Administrations, State Universities, and Institutions will be conducted by designated state authorities as per their respective notifications.
During the counselling process, eligible candidates' eligibility criteria, self-declaration, and various documents will be verified according to the norms specified by the respective authorities and/or Medical/Dental Colleges. The Ayush Admission Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) of the Ministry of Ayush will conduct the counselling for the All India Quota (AIQ) for BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS courses under NCISM, as well as for the AIQ for BHMS under NCH.
NEET UG Result 2024: Check Last Year's Cut Off
Last year, the NEET UG cut-off percentile was 50 for the general category and 40 for OBC, SC, and ST candidates. The NTA will determine the NEET UG 2024 percentile based on the highest marks scored in the all-India common merit list.
In 2023, the NEET UG cut-off for the general category increased to 720-137, up from 715-117 in 2022. Similarly, the cut-off for SC, ST, and OBC candidates rose to 136-107 in 2023, from 116-93 in 2022.
