Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is the top engineering college in the country again, according to the National Institutional Ranking Framework India rankings for this year. IIT Madras has held this place since the inception of the education ministry's ranking exercise and the first list in 2016 making this the sixth year in a row that it has been at the top.
The NIRF Ranking 2021 was released by the education minister Dharmendra Pradhan today, September 9. The second and third rank-holders in NIRF engineering ranking 2021 were IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay.
