NTA Duplicate Scorecard: How to Get New JEE Main, NEET UG Scorecard If Lost or Damaged

NTA has provided a facility to candidates whose original scorecard is either lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed, and they need a duplicate scorecard. The facility is applicable to scorecards issued to students who have appeared in JEE Mains, NEET UG, CUET PG, and other exams conducted by the NTA.

Before applying for a duplicate scorecard, candidates must first try looking for their scorecard in the DigiLocker portal.

Who Can Apply for NTA Duplicate Scorecard?

Candidates can apply for a duplicate scorecard if the original has been:

• Lost or stolen
• Damaged or mutilated
• Destroyed due to fire, flood or another situation beyond their control

How to Apply for NTA Duplicate Scorecard?

Candidates not able to access their scorecard from DigiLocker should follow the process for obtaining the duplicate scorecard as mentioned by the NTA.

The form can be found in Annexure I of the NTA Notification. Candidates can forward the completed form with necessary documents in the manner prescribed.

Email submission of scanned copies of the necessary documents in one PDF to result@nta.gov.in is also an option provided by NTA. However, candidates opting for the same must also forward their documents physically in Registered Post or Speed Post.

NTA Duplicate Scorecard Fee

The duplicate scorecard fee depends on the time passed since the result was declared:

Documents Required for Duplicate Scorecard

The candidate may be required to provide the following documents:

• Duly completed and signed application for the duplicate scorecard
• Affidavit in the required form
• Copy of police report in respect of loss or theft, if any
• Two recent color passport size photographs
• Copy of admit card or registration slip, if any
• Certificate regarding payment of duplicate score card fee
• Self-attested photo identity proof issued by the Government
• Indemnity and undertaking in the required form

Candidate is advised to carefully read the latest notification from NTA along with annexures therewith.

NTA Duplicate Scorecard: Check DigiLocker First

The candidates should first visit the DigiLocker portal and try to access their scorecard. If the scorecard can be accessed via DigiLocker, then the candidate does not have to apply for a duplicate scorecard separately.

The candidate whose score card is not accessible on DigiLocker should go for the process of duplicate score card as per NTA.
