The application process for the Ministry of Corporate Affairs' Prime Minister's Internship Scheme 2025 is ongoing.

The scheme launched in 2024 and aims to provide internships to 10 million youth over the next five years. PM Internship Scheme 2025: Eligibility Summary

Criterion Details
Age Limit 21 to 24 years as of April 22, 2025.
Age Relaxation SC/ST: Up to 5 years; OBC: Up to 3 years.
Citizenship Must be an Indian Citizen.
Minimum Education Must have completed any of the following: Class 10/12, ITI Certificate, Polytechnic Diploma, or an Undergraduate Degree (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Pharma).
Study Status Ineligible if pursuing full-time, regular college education. Eligible if pursuing online or distance learning.
Employment Status Ineligible if holding a full-time job.
Family Annual Income Must be less than ₹8 Lakh (includes income of self, parents, and spouse).

PM Internship Scheme 2025:Who Cannot Apply?

Reason for Ineligibility (You Cannot Apply If) Details
High-Tier Institution Graduate Graduated from IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISER, or IIIT.
Higher Professional Degrees Hold degrees such as MBA, PhD, CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, or BDS.
Current/Previous Govt Training Are currently doing or have completed training under NATS or NAPS, or any other government-funded internship/apprenticeship.
High Family Income Family annual income is more than ₹8 Lakh per year.
Permanent Govt Employee You or any family member is a permanent or regular government employee.

How to Apply for PM Internship Scheme: Quick Steps

  1. Go to the official website: pminternship.mca.gov.in.
  2. Click the “Youth Registration” button.
  3. Verify your identity with your Aadhaar number and an OTP.
  4. Fill in your personal details, education info, and family income.
  5. Upload documents like your school certificates and a recent photo.
  6. Pick up to five internship options based on where you want to work, what field you like, and what role you want.
  7. Check your application and submit it. Keep the confirmation safe.
  8. The deadline to apply is April 22, 2025, so don’t wait too long!
