PM Internship Scheme 2025: Eligibility Summary

Age Relaxation	SC/ST: Up to 5 years; OBC: Up to 3 years.
Citizenship	Must be an Indian Citizen.
Minimum Education	Must have completed any of the following: Class 10/12, ITI Certificate, Polytechnic Diploma, or an Undergraduate Degree (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Pharma).
Study Status	Ineligible if pursuing full-time, regular college education. Eligible if pursuing online or distance learning.

PM Internship Scheme 2025:Who Cannot Apply?

Reason for Ineligibility (You Cannot Apply If)	Details
High-Tier Institution Graduate	Graduated from IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISER, or IIIT.
Higher Professional Degrees	Hold degrees such as MBA, PhD, CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, or BDS.
Current/Previous Govt Training	Are currently doing or have completed training under NATS or NAPS, or any other government-funded internship/apprenticeship.
High Family Income	Family annual income is more than ₹8 Lakh per year.
Permanent Govt Employee	You or any family member is a permanent or regular government employee.

Click the “Youth Registration” button.
Verify your identity with your Aadhaar number and an OTP.
Fill in your personal details, education info, and family income.
Upload documents like your school certificates and a recent photo.
