The year 2024 has brought some changes to the schedules of various competitive and entrance exams. Due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, several exams have been rescheduled. Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to be held between April 19 and June 1. Let’s take a closer look at the revised dates for these important tests:

The upcoming elections have led to the rescheduling of several competitive exams, including the UPSC civil service prelims exam and NEET PG exam. Other exams affected include KCET, MHT CET (PCM, PCB), TS EAPCET (EAMCET), TS POLYCET, and ICAI CA exams.

Here's a Rundown of the Revised Exam Dates:

MHT CET (PCM and PCB)

MHT CET (PCM and PCB) exams were originally set between April 16 and April 30. Now, PCM group exams will be held from May 2 to May 17, and PCB group exams from April 22 to April 30. Admit cards will be available 10 days before the exam.

JEE Main 2024 session 2 : JEE Main 2024 session 2 will now run from April 4 to 12 instead of April 4 to 15.

TS EAPCET 2024 : TS EAPCET 2024 exams will be on May 9, 10, 11, and 12 in two shifts: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

TS POLYCET: TS POLYCET has been moved from May 17 to May 24, with the exam lasting 2.5 hours from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm.

AP EAPCET 2024 : AP EAPCET 2024 exams will take place from May 16 to 22, rescheduled from May 13 to 19.

NEET PG 2024 : NEET PG 2024 will now be held on June 23, with results expected by July 15 and counseling from August 5 to October 15.

Exam Dates Likely to Change

CUET UG exams are scheduled from May 15 to May 31, overlapping with election dates on May 20 and May 25. Exam dates may be subject to change.

Exams Not Rescheduled

JEE Advanced 2024 will proceed on May 26, with the application window open from April 21 to April 30, 2024.

NEET UG exams are still set for May 5, despite the election, covering physics, chemistry, and biology based on NCERT curriculum.

KCET 2024 remains scheduled for April 18 and 19, with the registration window reopened by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
