Supreme Court on CBSE class 12th Board Exam Cancellation: Know the Decision Here

Today 28 May, Friday, 2021 Supreme court had to take the decision on CBSE Class 12th Board Exam Cancellation. But the date for the hearing has shifted to 31 May, Monday due to no availability of adequate documents. The supreme court has given the date for next hearing on the petition of CBSE and ICSE Class 12th board exam. Also SC has mentioned that the respondents should be presented here. However, the court has allowed the petitioner to serve advanced copy to respondents including CBSE, ICSE, and Centre. 

A PIL was filed a few weeks back by Supreme Court Advocate Mamta Sharma to cancel the CBSE & ICSE Class 12th Examination. But due to vacation and non availability of CJI. The matter was pending. However after requesting the Chief Justice of India by senior lawyers. The hearing was scheduled to happen today at 10:30 AM by taking it as an emergency. 

However, there are 7000 Parents who have also moved to supreme court to cancel the CBSE Class 12th Board Exam. Although, the decision is still pending for the exam conduction from CBSE Board The final decision for the exam is expected to be announced on June 1st.

All states have already submitted their detailed suggestions by 25 May, 2021. A few of them have even announced their state board exam conduction dates as well such as WBBSE, UP Board government also said they are ready to conduct the board exam and papers have been printed here.
