UP Board Class 12th Examination Final Decision By Month’s End

The UP Government on May 26th (Wednesday), 2021, has said that the final Decision on the Class 12th board examination will be announced by the month's end. 

According to their statements the Uttar Pradesh Board is already preparing for the examination and they have already printed the question papers, and exam centers are also allocated. However they are still reviewing the COVID situation. But after discussing with UP CM Yogi Adityanath, the final decision will likely be taken by the end of this month.

Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma said 

“We have already printed the papers, made sets of decoded copies, & allocated 8,513 centers to follow social distancing during examinations. We're analysing COVID situation. We'll discuss with CM & final decision will likely be taken by end of this month:” 

While sharing the exam related information, the minister also mentioned about the discussion that took place in the High level virtual meeting held on May 23, Sunday, 2021. They addressed that Class 12th is a major class, the student's future career and higher education is dependent on the result of Class 12th.

“In the meeting with Rajnath Singh, 90% of states demanded to conduct 12th exams as 12th's result is counted in further education of a student. We've discussed our situation with Centre: Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma

While addressing about the pending exam, Uttar Pradesh Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh said: “ When education dept will finalise (dates for 12th board exams) then health dept will see how to maintain COVID protocols in centers. We've conducted panchayat polls & other programs following COVID protocols. So, it won't be difficult for us (Source: ANI)
