The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the WBJEE 2025 information bulletin, detailing the common entrance test (CET) scheduled for April 27. This exam offers admission to engineering, technology, pharmacy, and architecture courses.

Paper 1 (Mathematics) will run from 11 AM to 1 PM, while Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry) will occur from 2 PM to 4 PM.
The WBJEE registration process has not started yet. Applications not adhering to the conditions in the bulletin may be rejected. Note: The exam date is tentative and subject to change.

Candidates appearing for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 in WBJEE 2025 can qualify for General Merit Rank (GMR) and Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR). These candidates are eligible for admission to all engineering and pharmacy courses.
Candidates appearing only for Paper 2 will qualify for PMR. They can apply for pharmacy courses, except at Jadavpur University. Those appearing only for Paper 1 aren’t eligible for any rank.
WBJEE 2025: Academic Qualifications
- Students must be Indian citizens or OCI (Overseas Citizens of India) approved by the competent authority. OCI candidates are eligible only for unreserved seats under the All-India quota.
- Candidates should pass Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent exam before 2025 or appear for it in 2025.
- The minimum age requirement is 17 years as of December 31, 2025. Applicants should be born on or before December 31, 2008.
- There’s no upper age limit for WBJEE 2025. However, for Marine Engineering courses, the upper age limit is 25 years as of December 31, 2025.
By meeting these criteria, students can ensure eligibility for their desired courses under the WBJEE 2025 admissions process.
WBJEE 2025: Exam pattern
All questions will be Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ), with four options against each question. (Screenshot)
