WBJEE 2025 Seat Allotment Result Tomorrow – Check Domicile Rules

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will release the WBJEE 2025 Round 1 seat allotment result tomorrow, i.e. on 3rd September 2025.
Candidates will be able to check their result online only on the official website wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. No candidate will be informed about the result through offline mode.
The WBJEE 2025 counseling registration and option filling process was conducted from 28th August to 1st September 2025.
During this time, the candidates selected their preferred colleges and courses in the order of preference and locked them. Now based on the seat allotment result, it will be decided which college and course will be allotted to the candidate.
WBJEE 2025 Seat Allotment Schedule
- Round 1 Seat Allotment: 3rd September 2025
- Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee, Reporting at Allotted Institute and Upgradation Option – Round 1: 3rd to 7th September 2025
- Round 2 Seat Allotment: 9th September 2025
- Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee, Reporting and Admission Refund – Round 2: 9th to 11th September 2025
WBJEE 2025 Seat Allotment: Domicile Rules
It is mandatory for candidates to submit Domicile Certificate for admission in WBJEE 2025. It will be made available in different proformas depending on their eligibility.
1. Candidates who have resided in West Bengal for 10 continuous years (as on 31 December 2024):
- Certificate has to be obtained as per Proforma A1 or A2.
- Proforma A2 should be signed by the Principal of the school/college from where the candidate has passed or is appearing for Class 12 examination.
2. Candidates whose parents are permanent residents of West Bengal:
- Certificate has to be obtained as per Proforma B.
- Apart from this, original copy of any two documents of parents' Voter ID, Aadhar Card, Passport or Ration Card has to be submitted.

- Judicial Magistrate
- Corporation Area Commissioner
- Assistant Secretary
- Deputy Director
- Collector of Kolkata
Last Date for Document Verification
If the candidates do not get their documents verified within the given time limit, their seat allotment will be cancelled. Hence, candidates are advised to keep all the required documents ready beforehand so that there is no problem in the admission process.
