The XAT 2026 exam will be conducted on January 4, 2026 (Sunday). The exam is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur on behalf of XAMI (Xavier's Association of Management Institutes). XAT scores are accepted by more than 250 management institutes in India.

Eligibility for XAT 2026

Candidates must have a minimum 3-year graduation degree in any discipline.
Students studying in the final year can also apply, provided they complete their degree by June 10, 2026.
There is no minimum percentage of marks required in graduation to appear for XAT.

How to Apply for XAT 2026

The application for XAT will be done in online mode only. The application process is as follows:

➤ Register: Visit the official website xatonline.in and create a new account by entering name, email and mobile number.

➤ Get XAT ID and Password: After successful registration, XAT ID and password will be sent to your email and mobile.

➤ Login and fill the application form: Select educational qualification, work experience (if any), exam center and upload required documents (photo, signature, ID proof).

➤ Pay Fee: Pay XAT 2026 registration fee online.

➤ Verify the form: Keep a printout of the last page.

The starting and last date of XAT 2026 application will be announced soon by XLRI.

XAT 2026 Exam Pattern

The XAT exam will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT). The total duration will be 3 hours 30 minutes. The exam will have 4 sections:

Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation (QA & DI)
Decision Making (DM)
Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VA & LR)
General Knowledge (GK)
All questions will be of MCQ (multiple choice) type.

The marks obtained from the first three sections add up to the XAT score.

The General Knowledge section is evaluated separately and is used during the final selection.
