Xavier Labor Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur has started the registration process for XAT 2026 from July 10, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website xatonline.com. The last date to register for XAT 2026 is December 5, 2025.

The XAT 2026 exam will be conducted on January 4, 2026. This computer-based test (CBT) will be held in a single shift from 2 PM to 5 PM. The exam will be conducted at designated centers in more than 70 cities across the country.
The XAT 2026 admit card will likely be released on December 20, 2025. Candidates who register on the first day may get an opportunity to attend special preparation sessions from XLRI. Out of these, 200 candidates will get a chance to participate in a Q&A session with XAT toppers and the exam coordinator.
The application fee for XAT is ₹2,200 for general category candidates. If candidates wish to apply for any of the XLRI programmes as well, they will have to pay an additional ₹200 per programme selected. The fee for those applying for PGDM-GM through GMAT/GRE is ₹2,500, while for NRI, foreign, PIO, or OCI candidates, the fee is ₹5,000.
Eligibility Criteria and Optional Scores
Candidates applying for XAT 2026 must have completed graduation (minimum 3-year course) from a recognised university. Students in the final year can also apply. For PGDM-GM and Double Master programmes, Indian candidates can use GMAT or GRE scores. Foreign, NRI, PIO, or OCI candidates can apply for all XLRI courses through GMAT scores.
Photo and Signature Upload Guidelines
Candidates are required to upload a recent passport size colour photograph and signature. The photograph should be in JPG, JPEG or PNG format and its size should not exceed 1MB. The signature should be in black ink on white paper and should also be scanned in the above formats.
