CBSE 10th, 12th Results 2025 Not Today – Official Confirms Likely Release Next Week

CBSE has clarified that the class 10 and 12 board exam results will not be released today. A senior board official said that the result date has not been decided yet and no official information has been released. Students are advised to check the official website only.

A senior CBSE official said on condition of anonymity, "The results are not being released today and will probably not be announced even till this weekend." Officials have advised students not to pay heed to rumors and get updates only from the official website of the board.

More than 44 lakh students across the country are eagerly waiting for the CBSE class 10th and 12th results. The 2025 board exams were conducted from February 15 to March 18. There were rumors on social media about the results being released on May 2, but CBSE has denied these claims and said that no date has been decided yet.

After the CBSE Class 10 and 12 results 2025 are declared, students will be able to download the provisional marksheets from the official websites using their roll number, school number, admit card ID and date of birth. The original marksheets will be distributed later through the respective schools. Students are advised to keep a printout of their online marksheets for future reference.

In the previous academic year, CBSE had released the results on May 13. The overall pass percentage in Class 12 was 87.98%, while 93.60% students cleared Class 10. This was an improvement of 0.48% in Class 10 results compared to last year, showing an increase in the overall performance of the board.

• Go to the official website of the CBSE results portal, that is results.cbse.nic.in.
• Click on the link that says,  "CBSE 10th Result 2025" or "CBSE 12th Result 2025."
• Enter the important details like your roll number, date of birth, and the security code.
• Click on ‘SUBMIT’ to get the result. Download and save it for future reference.

CBSE Board Result Pass percentage:  Last Year, a total of 21,84,117 students registered for the CBSE Class 10 exams. Out of these, 21,65,805 appeared and 20,16,779 passed the exams, resulting in a pass percentage of 93.12%.
