CBSE Class 10 Result 2026 OUT: 93.7% Students Pass - Girls Outperform Boys, Toppers List & Full Statistics

CBSE Class 10 Result 2026 is officially out. The Central Board of Secondary Education declared the results on April 15, 2026. Out of 24,71,777 students who appeared, 23,16,008 have been declared pass. The overall pass percentage stands at 93.70% — slightly higher than last year's 93.66%.

Trivandrum and Vijayawada topped the region-wise list with an impressive 99.79% pass rate each. Chennai followed closely at 99.58%, and Bengaluru recorded 98.91%.

Girls Outshine Boys — Again

Girls have performed better than boys for another consecutive year. The girls' pass percentage stands at 94.99%, which is 1.3 percentage points higher than boys at 92.69%. This reflects a consistent trend of girls delivering stronger results across CBSE board examinations.

New Exam System Under NEP 2026

This year, CBSE introduced a two-exam system for Class 10 under the National Education Policy (NEP). The first examination was held between February 17 and March 11, 2026. The second exam is scheduled for May 2026. All students were required to appear in the first phase.
