Earlier Schools were directed to submit the internal assessment marks and Practical Exam Marks on the CBSE Portal in order to evaluate students of Class 12th. But due to the COVID-19 Pandemic all schools were not able to submit the marks on the website.
That is why the board had extended the date and ordered the schools to conduct the practical exams in online mode and submit the marks by Monday, Jun 28.
On June 7 a letter was sent to the schools by the CBSE Exam Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj and in that letter he stated that, it has been observed that some schools were not able to complete the school-based assessments in various subjects due to COVID-19.
He also added that the last date will not be extended further for submitting the results.
Earlier on the Marks Distribution
It is noted that CBSE had asked schools to conduct the practical exam and do the internal assessment of the students between March 1 and June 11. Board had also directed schools to reconduct the practical examination of the students who were not able to appear for the examination due to being affected by COVID-19. At the same time many schools were done with their student’s practical Exams and internal assessment, but some couldn’t because they had to close the schools in view of the COVID-19 situation in the country.
Moreover, on June 1st CBSE had announced the cancellation of CBSE Board Examination in the view of COVID-19. Afterwards, the board formed a panel to decide how to evaluate Class 12 students and later that they come with the evaluation criteria. On the basis of evaluation criteria the CBSE Class 12th student’s results will be prepared on the basis of 30:30:40 Formula.
