COMEDK Counselling 2026 Round 4 Schedule Released; Choice Filling Starts August 26

COMEDK, Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka, has announced COMEDK UGET 2026 Round 4 counselling schedule for the admission process into the engineering programme. The last round of counselling is going to begin with the choice filling procedure on August 26, 2026, at 4 PM.

Those candidates who are eligible can modify their choices in the colleges and branches during choice filling. The final seat allocation will take place after the choice filling process ends.

As per the schedule which has been released by COMEDK, the candidates can fill up and modify their choices till August 28, 2026, at 4 PM. The process of Round 4 seat allocation result and decision making will begin from September 1, 2026.

Who Can Participate in COMEDK Round 4 Counselling?

COMEDK Round 4 is the last counselling round in General Merit (GM). Students who have not got a seat in Rounds 1, 2, and 3 can apply for this round.

Candidates having an Accept & Upgrade or Reject & Upgrade status can also apply for Round 4 based on the counselling norms.

Reject & Upgrade status candidates who are not willing to go ahead with the final round counselling can leave the counselling procedure in the specified time frame. Those students who have been offered a seat in Round 4 must accept the same.

No Seat Cancellation Facility in COMEDK Round 4

Candidates are required to choose wisely while choosing the colleges and branches in Round 4, since once the allotment is done through this process, it will not be possible for the candidates to cancel the allotted seat thereafter.

It has been made clear by COMEDK that candidates allotted seats under upgrade categories are required to join the allotted college. In case candidates do not join, then the counseling fee and other penalties will be applicable according to the guidelines.

The seat allotment in Round 4 will be decided according to the ranks of the candidates along with the preferences of the candidates and seats available.
