MeriPehchaan in JEE Main 2027 is a government single sign-on (SSO) platform used during the online registration process. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has enabled this facility to help candidates complete identity authentication through integrated digital services.

The platform connects DigiLocker, JanParichay and e-Pramaan, allowing users to access participating government services through a single sign-on system. Students can use the authentication options available during JEE Main 2027 registration.

What Is MeriPehchaan in JEE Main 2027?

MeriPehchaan is a National Single Sign-On (NSSO) platform developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in collaboration with NIC, C-DAC and NeGD. It was launched on July 4, 2022.

According to the JEE Main 2027 Information Bulletin, the platform allows users to authenticate their identity and access integrated government applications without repeated sign-ins.

Key features of MeriPehchaan include:

• Single Sign-On: Access participating services using supported login credentials.

• Identity Providers: Integration with DigiLocker, JanParichay and e-Pramaan.

• eKYC Verification: Support for identity verification using Aadhaar, PAN, Driving Licence and APAAR.

• Security: Multi-factor authentication and passwordless login features.

• Account Management: Support for multiple accounts linked to a single mobile number.

How to Register and Log In Through MeriPehchaan for JEE Main 2027

Candidates can gain entry into the MeriPehchaan portal via the official JEE Main registration portal.

• Navigate to the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
• Click the ‘JEE Main 2027 Session 1 Application’ link.
• Access the MeriPehchaan registration/login facility.
• Choose the appropriate authentication provider from the portal.
• Returning users can log in using their respective credentials. New users need to register according to the instructions.
• Proceed to the process of identity authentication as directed on the portal.
• Navigate to the JEE Main application form.
• Fill in the required information and save the application number auto-generated by the system.
• Submit the application form after uploading the requisite documents and paying the exam fee.
• Download the confirmation page after making the payment.

Note: The authentication process at MeriPehchaan will not be considered complete until candidates fill in the requisite information along with the examination fee.

Students must take care of the following important aspects while applying:

• Fill the right name, date of birth and identity information.
• Provide active phone number and email id for application.
• Generate your JEE Main application password with 8-13 alphabets, number and special symbol.
• Only visit official NTA website and government authentication website.
• Keep the application id for future logins and communication.
• Apply for only one JEE Main application. In case you create more than one application id, get help from NTA.
