CUET UG 2025 Scores: 5 Candidates Achieve Above 1200 Marks

CUET UG 2025 result has now been officially released. The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) on July 5, 2025. Students who appeared for the exam can download their scorecard by visiting the website cuet.nta.nic.in. This year the exam was conducted in a total of 35 shifts over 19 days between May 13 and June 4.

This time the exam was held in a total of 37 subjects, including 13 languages, 23 domain subjects and a general aptitude test. Students were allowed to select a maximum of five subjects from all of these. A total of 1,059 question papers were set in the exam this time, including 322 unique papers. The number of question papers has increased significantly compared to last year.
NTA did not release the individual list of toppers this time, but shared the information about the top scores obtained in five subjects. The highest overall NTA score this year was 1225.93, while the other top scores are 1210.10, 1205.17, 1203.40 and 1200.12 respectively. According to the data, only one candidate has scored 100 percentile in four out of his five subjects. At the same time, 17 candidates have scored 100 percentile in three subjects. The number of students who scored 100 percentile in two subjects was 150 and the number of those who did so in one subject was 2,679.

A total of 13,54,699 candidates had registered for CUET UG 2025 this time. Of these, 6,47,934 were female students and 7,06,760 were male candidates, while five third gender candidates had also applied. A total of 10,71,735 candidates appeared in the exam, out of which 5,23,988 were women, 5,47,744 were men and three third gender candidates. This time there has been a slight increase in registration and attendance as compared to last year.
CUET UG 2025 was conducted in 300 cities of India, including 15 foreign cities. Whereas last year this exam was conducted in 379 cities, including 26 foreign cities. Talking about the participation of universities, last year 283 universities had given admission to students on the basis of CUET score, but this time this number has come down to 239.
Talking about the answer key of the exam, NTA had earlier released the provisional answer key on June 17 and students were given a chance to register objections till June 20. The final answer key was released on July 1, after which the final result has now been declared.

NTA has clarified that the results of all the students are being shared with the respective universities. Students are advised to keep checking the information related to further counseling and admission process on time by visiting the official website of their desired universities.
CUET UG 2025 was special this time in many ways. For the first time, such a large number of unique question papers were created, a score-based list was released instead of toppers and a change was seen in the participation of universities. In such a situation, it is now important for the students to focus on the post-result process like counseling and seat allocation.
