CUET UG 2026 Date Postponed: NTA Reschedules May 28 Exam – Full Details Inside
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the postponement of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026, scheduled for May 28, affecting candidates appearing for the examination in both shifts.
According to an official public notice issued on May 24, this decision was taken following a notification from the Government of India regarding a change in the holiday date for Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakrid).
“In view of the Department's notification regarding the change in the holiday date on account of Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakrid), the CUET (UG) 2026 examinations scheduled to be held in both shifts on 28.05.2026 have been postponed,” the notice stated.
The NTA stated that the revised examination dates for the affected candidates will be announced later.
Students are advised to regularly check the official NTA and CUET websites for updates regarding the new schedule and examination-related information.
