Registration will close on January 30, 2026. You will have until January 31 to submit the application fee. After that, the window will close completely.

 Step-by-Step Registration Process 

Applying for CUET UG 2026 is easy. Follow these steps:

• Go to cuet.nta.nic.in.
• On the homepage, find the CUET UG 2026 registration link.
• Click on it and create your account.
• After registration, log in with your credentials.
• Fill out the application form with the correct information.
• Pay the required fee online.
• Submit your form and download the confirmation page.
• Print a copy for future reference.

 Application Fee Details 

NTA has fixed different fees based on your category.

General Category Up to 3 subjects: ₹1,000 Each additional subject: ₹400

OBC (NCL) / EWS Up to 3 subjects: ₹900 Each additional subject: ₹375

SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender Up to 3 subjects: ₹800 Each additional subject: ₹350

 CUET UG 2026 Exam Schedule 

Mark your calendars! The exams will be held from May 11 to May 31, 2026.

The NTA will conduct this test in multiple shifts. Your shift will depend on the number of candidates who register and their subject combinations. Each paper will be 60 minutes long.

Students can take the exam in any of the 13 available languages. Test centers are located throughout India and in a few selected international locations.

 Who Should Take CUET UG? 

Anyone seeking admission to central universities needs to take this exam. Many other participating institutions also accept CUET scores for undergraduate programs.
