CUET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key Released at cuet.nta.nic.in; Challenge Window Open Till June 11

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CUET UG 2026 provisional answer key. The Common University Entrance Test was held from May 11 to May 31, 2026, and again on June 6 and June 7, 2026. You can now check the answer key using the direct link at cuet.nta.nic.in.

NTA has also opened the CUET answer key challenge window. You can raise objections against any answer from June 9 to June 11, 2026 (up to 10:00 PM). The last date to pay the objection fee is June 11, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM).

CUET UG 2026 Exam Details

NTA conducted CUET (UG) 2026 in multiple shifts in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across India and abroad. A total of 15,68,867 candidates registered for the exam. The provisional answer keys, along with the question papers and recorded responses, are now available on the official website for everyone who appeared in the test.

What's Available on the Portal

When you log in, you can access three things together:

• The provisional answer key
• The question paper
• Your recorded responses

This lets you match your answers against the official key and work out an expected score before the result comes out.

CUET UG 2026 Answer Key Challenge: Fee Details

If you're not satisfied with any answer in the provisional key, you can challenge it. NTA charges a non-refundable fee of ₹200 for each question you challenge. You can pay this fee online through a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.

NTA won't accept any challenge without the processing fee. The fee can't be paid through any other mode, so make sure you complete the payment before the deadline.

• Enter your login details:
  • Application Number
  • Password
• Your profile and answer key will appear on the screen
• Download the answer key, question paper, and response sheet
• Check your answers and calculate your score

How to Challenge CUET UG 2026 Answer Key

Here's how you can raise an objection through the official portal:

• Log in at cuet.nta.nic.in with your application number and password
• Open the View/Challenge Answer Key link
• Select the questions you want to challenge
• Upload your supporting documents in a single PDF file
• Pay the fee of ₹200 per question
• Submit your challenge before June 11, 2026 (10:00 PM)

What Happens After You Challenge

A panel of subject experts will review every challenge candidates submit. If your challenge is found correct, NTA will revise the answer key and apply it to all candidates' responses. NTA will then prepare and declare the result based on the revised final answer key.

No candidate will be told individually whether their challenge was accepted or rejected. The key finalised by the experts will be final. NTA has advised all candidates to keep visiting the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in, for the latest updates.
