CUET UG DU cutoff 2025 will be released in the third week of August 2025 on the official website of Delhi University, ugadmission.uod.ac.in. Before this, CUET UG result 2025 will be declared by NTA, after which various universities will publish their course and college wise cutoff list online.
Admission to DU will be entirely based on CUET scores. The cutoff for top courses and colleges is likely to be 98.5% or above i.e. around 750+ marks (out of 1250). This cutoff is expected for competitive courses like B.A. (Hons.) Economics (St. Stephens), B.Com (Hons.) (SRCC), and B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics (Hindu College).
The CSAS UG 2025 process will offer admission to over 70,000 seats in over 90 colleges of Delhi University. Candidates must note that it is mandatory for them to apply for CUET DU CSAS 2025 to participate in the admission process. Under this, candidates have to fill the online application and deposit the prescribed counselling fee.

Delhi University (DU) admission 2025 will be based on CUET UG scores and normalized percentage (%) through the CSAS portal.
Key points:
- Top colleges (SRCC, Hindu, Miranda, LSR) require 98%–100% for general category.

CUET DU 2025: Course-Wise Expected Cutoffs (Out of 1250)
Admission to UG courses in Delhi University 2025 will be based on CUET UG score and percentile score on CSAS portal. The cutoff varies as per course, stream, popularity and category.
If a candidate has appeared in the exam from 5 subjects, the maximum marks will be 1250 (5×250). The merit score will be decided on the basis of total and section-wise weightage.
- The cutoff for most DU courses for General category ranges from 1100–1200 /1250 i.e. 99+ percentile.
- OBC/EWS category needs 60–100 marks less for the same course.
- SC/ST candidates can get admission even with 150–250 marks less, depending on the demand of the course and the round.
- B.A. Courses like Programme and Life Sciences are good for entry-level, with cutoffs ranging between 780–900.

DU BTech CUET 2025 Cutoffs (Expected)
Delhi University offers B.Tech programmes in CSE, ECE and Mathematics & Innovation through its Faculty of Technology and Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC). Admission to these courses is based on CUET UG scores.
A total of around 120 seats are available across all categories, making this admission process extremely competitive.
- General category candidates need 1190+ marks out of 1250 to get admission in CSE, making it one of the most challenging B.Tech courses in India.
- OBC/EWS candidates can get a chance even with around 40–60 marks less.
- SC/ST category candidates get relaxation of around 100–200 marks, but popular courses like CSE still require high scores.
- Only 120 seats were available in 2024, with the most sought after courses being CSE, followed by ECE and then IT + Mathematics Innovation.
