CUET UG Final Answer Key 2026 Out: 7 Questions Removed by NTA, Direct Download Link

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026. Candidates can now check and download the final answer key from the official website at cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA has dropped a total of 7 questions from this final key.

The CUET UG 2026 exam was conducted from May 11 to June 7, 2026, across 37 subjects. These include 13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects, and one general aptitude test. The exam was held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Each candidate could choose a maximum of five subjects, including languages and the general aptitude test. Every paper had 50 compulsory questions and a time limit of 60 minutes.

The final answer key has been prepared after reviewing the objections raised by students against the provisional answer key, which was released on June 9, 2026. The objection window stayed open till June 11, 2026. Based on the valid challenges, NTA has dropped 7 questions from the final answer key.

No marks are awarded for unanswered questions. Candidates should also note that this is the final answer key and can't be challenged any further.

CUET UG 2026 Admissions and Cut-Off

Admissions will be handled by individual universities, not NTA. Each university will prepare its own merit list and follow its own admission criteria. Candidates should check the official websites of the universities they want to apply to for eligibility and cut-off details.

CUET UG 2026 Exam: Key Numbers

The CUET UG 2026 exam was conducted across 35 shifts throughout the country. According to NTA data, around 15,68,866 candidates registered for the exam. Out of these, 8,69,959 students applied for five subjects, 3,63,096 for four, 2,93,660 for three, 31,011 for two subjects, and 11,140 for just one subject.

NTA also reported that 96.6% of candidates got their preferred cities, while 79% were allotted their first choice of city. This year, NTA generated approximately 67,56,321 test instances for the exam.
