CUET UG Result 2026: 22 Score Perfect 100 Percentile in 3 Subjects, Check Now
National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026 result. Aspirants can now see and download their results through the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. In this year's examination, only one aspirant scored 100 percentiles in four out of five subjects chosen by him/her.

As per information provided by the agency, 22 candidates have achieved 100 percentiles in three subjects, and 180 candidates have done it in two subjects. Total 3,214 candidates scored 100 percentiles in one or more subjects.
CUET UG test is the entrance exam for admission in undergraduate courses in central, state, deemed, and private universities. Over 15 lakh candidates applied for the examination this year.
"Candidates are requested to keep in touch with respective universities and institutions for further information," the agency added.
NTA has declared the CUET 2026 result after verifying the final answer key of the test. Subject experts have verified this answer key. Results have been released on June 23 at cuet.nta.nic.in. As per the agency, it has shortened the time this year to declare the results within 16 days of completion of the exam. This is 14 days less than the previous admission cycle.

As the table shows, more candidates hit the 100 percentile mark across every level this year compared to 2025.
Which Universities Accept CUET UG Scores?
Totally 49 central universities will consider CUET UG scores for the purpose of admission to undergraduate courses. These include Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Jamia Millia Islamia, and University of Hyderabad. Several other state, private, and deemed universities are also involved in the process.
As made clear by NTA, it is responsible for conducting the test and declaring the scores. All the universities will take care of the counseling, merit list, cut-off marks, and seat allotment according to their respective criteria.
How the Marking Worked
Before declaring the result, NTA had uploaded question papers and the recorded response of the students on the official website. Candidates were allowed to see the provisional answer key, calculate marks by checking their responses, and if needed raise objection against the provisional answer key.
According to the marking scheme, five marks would be awarded for each correct response and negative one mark would be deducted for incorrect answers. However, no negative marking was applicable for unanswered questions.
A Look Back at 2025
The CUET UG 2025 results were announced in the first week of July last year, while the exam was conducted from May 13 to June 4, 2025. A total of 13,54,699 students appeared for the examination, which comprised 7,06,760 males, 6,47,934 females, and 5 third-gender students. The test was held in 300 cities in 15 foreign countries as well.
