Delhi, UP Schools for Classes 9 to 12, Colleges to Reopen From Feb 7

Schools and Colleges reopened today on Monday February 7 in Delhi, UP and many other states. The decline in COVID-19 cases have given us some relief and educational institutes such as classes 9 to 12 and degree colleges received permission to open their institutes and schools from February 7, 2022.

All the institutes and students will have to follow the guidelines or new COVID SoPs released by the officials. Face masks are mandatory and there is no way to skip this, it should be strictly followed by all.

The schools and education institutes were closed in December 2021, due to the rise in COVID-19 cases however, from the last few days the cases are declining day by day so the officials have allowed the schools to resume their offline classes. Moreover, the officials have also debated the continuing of hybrid teaching and learning mode.

Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) decided on friday and announced the reopening of schools from today. Meanwhile they also decided to resume classes from nursery to 8 from February 14, 2022.

The UP government has announced their decision on schools reopening on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Classes 9 to 12, along with all degree colleges are allowed to reopen today in Uttar Pradesh.
