GATE 2024 Exam Schedule and Important Dates Released - Check Now Full Schedule

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has officially announced the GATE exam date for the year 2024. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 is scheduled to be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, aiming at admitting candidates to various master's degree programmes in engineering.

The GATE 2024 registration process will commence in the last week of August, and candidates can register for the exam on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in, with the last date of application being September 29.

While the GATE 2024 information bulletin is yet to be released, the IISc has already made available the GATE 2024 tentative schedule, syllabus, application fee, and eligibility criteria on the website.

For application, female candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories are required to pay Rs 900, and with a late fee, it will be Rs 1,400. For all other candidates, the application fee is Rs 1,800, and with a late fee, it amounts to Rs 2,300.

The GATE 2024 examination will be conducted in two sessions - forenoon session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The exam will consist of 30 papers, covering various engineering disciplines.
