The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore is the authority responsible for administering the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Exam and is currently accepting applications for this examination. The deadline for GATE 2024 registration without incurring a late fee is today, which falls on October 12, 2023. GATE 2024 Registration – Direct Link To Apply

Initially, the regular online registration/application deadline was set for September 29, 2023. However, this date was subsequently extended, first to October 5, 2023, and finally to the current date, October 12, 2023.

To be eligible to apply for GATE 2024, candidates must either be currently enrolled in the third year or higher of an undergraduate degree program or have successfully completed a government-approved degree program in Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, or Humanities.

For those who opt for extended registration with a late fee, the closing date is October 20, 2023. Registered candidates will have the opportunity to make modifications to their applications from November 7, 2023, until November 11, 2023.

The GATE 2024 admit card is scheduled for release on January 3, 2024, with the exams commencing on February 3, 2024, spanning the dates of February 3, 4, 10, and 11.

During the regular application period, female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates are required to pay Rs. 900 per test paper, while during the extended period, this fee increases to Rs. 1,400. All other candidates, including foreign nationals, must pay Rs. 1,800 per test paper during the regular period and Rs. 2,300 during the extended period.
