IISER Counselling 2026 Dates Released: First-Round Admission Starts July 24

The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) have come up with the counselling schedule for IISER Admission 2026. The students who have qualified for the entrance exam can join the first round of admission process from July 24, 2026.

The IISER Admission offer 2026 Round 1 will be available from July 24 at 5 PM. The candidates need to accept the offer till July 28 at 5 PM.

The Round 2 admission offer will be released on August 1 at 5 PM. The last date of completing admission for this round will be August 5 at 5 PM.

The Round 3 admission offer will be available from August 10 at 5 PM. The candidate needs to accept the offer by August 13 at 5 PM.

The candidates need to visit the official IISER admission portal to accept their offer in the concerned counselling round. The candidates need to accept their offer before the deadline date.

It is suggested to the candidates that they should complete all admission processes on time. Failure to accept their allotted seats before the deadline will make their admission offer invalid.

How to Participate in IISER Counselling 2026

The following is the procedure to be followed by candidates to complete the IISER counselling process:

• Go to the official IISER admission website - iiseradmission.in
•  Log in to the system using your Application ID and password.
•  Register for counselling.
•  Provide all the necessary details.
•  Pay admission/seat acceptance fees, if any.
• Submit the counselling form within the deadline.

IISER 2026 Seat Acceptance Fee

Candidates offered admission are supposed to pay the seat acceptance fee in order to secure their seat.

General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Kashmiri Migrants (KM), Kashmiri Pandit and Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) are required to pay Rs 35,000.

Rs 35,000 seat acceptance fee consists of non-refundable administrative fee of Rs 10,000.

Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates are required to pay Rs 17,500.

Non-refundable administrative fee in case of SC and ST candidates is Rs 5,000.

Students are advised to carefully verify the details on the official portal before paying the seat acceptance fee.
