The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2025 session 2 exam from April 2, 2025. Every year, NTA releases some mandatory guidelines for students appearing for JEE Main exam on the day of the exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main exam day guidelines informing candidates that the JEE January session exam was conducted from January 22 to 30, while the April session exam will be conducted from April 2 to 9, 2025.

JEE Main 2025 Session - 2 Dress Code for Male Candidates

Male candidates appearing for JEE Main 2025 must adhere to the following dress code on the exam day:

Avoid wearing metal items as they cause discomfort during frisking.
Do not wear caps, mufflers, or any head coverings.
Opt for light, comfortable clothing to ensure ease during the exam.
Jewelry, including rings, bracelets, and necklaces, is prohibited.
Avoid thick-soled shoes to facilitate smooth security checks.

JEE Main 2025 Session - 2 Dress Code for Female Candidates

Female candidates appearing for JEE Main 2025 should follow this dress code:

Do not wear scarves, dupattas, or any type of cloth over the head.
Students should not wear any type of jewellery or ornaments.
Candidates should not wear any type of metal item or any item/cloth made of metal.
On the day of the exam, candidates should wear light and comfortable clothes keeping in mind the weather.
Candidates should not wear glasses, rings, bracelets or any such items.

JEE Main 2025 Session - 2 Exam Day Guidelines

Students must follow the below-mentioned guidelines for the exam day of JEE Main 2025.

It’s recommended to visit the exam venue a day before the exam to familiarize yourself with the route and travel time to avoid delays on the exam day.
Students must reach the exam venue at least an hour before to avoid last-minute hassles.
Students must bring their JEE Main 2025 admit card, one passport-size colour photograph and a valid photo ID proof.
Candidates must note that they will not be allowed to appear for the exam without the admit card, photograph and photo ID proof.
Students must not carry mobile phones, study material, electronic items or any such prohibited items to the JEE Main 2025 exam venue.
Students must follow the code of conduct during the exam and must not indulge in any kind of disturbance.
