JoSAA 2024: IIT Admissions for Ranks Up to 25824, BTech Seats Remain Unfilled

JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) has released the seat allocation list of the fifth and final round for admission in B.Tech and other courses in IIT ISM Dhanbad. Students up to 25,824 rank in JEE Advanced have got seats for 1125 seats in IIT Dhanbad. A student of 25,824 rank has been allotted a seat in Mining Engineering.

On the other hand, if we talk about the opening rank or best ranker of the institute, it has gone to the 2167 rank. The Computer Science Engineering branch has been allotted to the 2167 rank. Let us tell you that now the seats of those students who do not take admission will remain vacant. In the year 2024, the best ranker from the first to the fourth round was 1817. In the fifth round released on Wednesday, the said student upgraded for admission in some other IIT.

In the year 2023, the opening rank was 1853 and the closing rank was 24,166. Compared to last year, both the opening and closing ranks of the institute have fallen. The opening rank has fallen by 314 ranks. The closing rank has also fallen by 1,658 ranks, while IIT has announced free education for the top five students who take admission from the top 600 ranks.

JoSAA 2024 : Online Registration from 25th

Students allotted to IIT Dhanbad will have to register online by paying fees online between 25th July and 29th July. After this, they have to report to IIT Dhanbad campus on 28th July. After reporting to the Student Activity Center, they will be sent to the hostel after biometric verification and physical registration.

The orientation program will be held in Penmen Hall on 29th July. Classes will start from 30th July. Document verification will be done on 4th August. Detailed schedule has been released.
