What Should Candidates Do After KCET Round 2 Allotment?
Candidates should first check their provisional allotment carefully. They should verify the allotted college, course and branch and compare them with the preferences submitted during KCET counselling.
Once the choice selection window opens, candidates will have to select the appropriate option based on whether they want to accept the allotted seat or participate in the next counselling round.
Choice 1 allows candidates to accept and freeze the allotted seat. Candidates selecting this option won't participate in further rounds after completing the required admission formalities.
Choice 2 allows candidates to accept the allotted seat while remaining eligible to participate in the next round for a better preference.
Candidates selecting Choice 3 can reject the currently allotted seat and participate in the next counselling round.
Candidates are advised to keep their original verification slip, KCET login credentials, allotment letter and other required documents ready. These documents may be needed during fee payment, confirmation slip download and college reporting.
KEA will announce the final KCET 2026 Round 2 allotment result along with the detailed schedule for fee payment, confirmation slip download and reporting to the allotted colleges. Candidates should regularly check the official KEA counselling portal for further updates.
