The Maharashtra State CET Cell has announced the provisional merit list of MHT CET 2026 for admission in undergraduate engineering and technology courses through Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

The registered applicants can view their provisional ranks on the official admission portal. Candidates need to check all the details that are mentioned in the merit list before the final merit list is declared.

Provisional merit list has been announced for the students who are applying for admission in BE, BTech and Master of Engineering and Technology courses for the year 2026-27.

This list has included all those students who have successfully registered and verified their documents. The applicants must check their name, category, rank and application related details.

MHT CET 2026 Grievance Window Open Until July 25

The candidates who notice any error in the provisional merit list may file their grievances through an online process from July 23 to July 25, 2026.

In case of errors in their name, category, merit position, application data, or any document, they may seek rectification. The candidates need to lodge their grievances within the stipulated time frame.

After the grievances are scrutinized, the final merit list will be prepared.

MHT CET 2026 Final Merit List on July 27

After taking into account the objections raised by the applicants, the CET Cell will announce the MHT CET 2026 merit list on 27 July 2026.

This merit list will be used for allocating seats through the Centralized Admission Process. The candidates who find themselves in this list will be considered for admissions to the engineering colleges in Maharashtra.

MHT CET 2026 Counselling Process

Following the release of the last merit list, the CET Cell will start the subsequent processes of MHT CET 2026 counseling.

The subsequent processes would include filling options, seat allotment, fee payment, document submission, and confirmation of admission at allotted institutes.

It is advised to candidates that they keep visiting the official MHT CET website for further information regarding the CAP schedule and seat allotment dates.
